How to pack thousands of jars and pouches in a limited space – and reduce the environmental footprint at the same time?
Czech food company was looking for a way to replace its aging cartoning system for filled jars and move towards more sustainable food packaging.
The goal was to replace the paper tray and shrink PE film with a fully recyclable cardboard package.
The second challenge was to automate the packaging of single-portion pouches (100 ml) of tartar sauce and mayonnaise, which had previously been assembled manually.
And all of this within limited space.

TEKRO - case study

When we talk about the benefits of our packaging lines, we often talk about precision, greater efficiency or productivity. Basically, we use words that, except for a few people in management, will probably be difficult for the rest of us to grasp.
That is why we are happy to add a reference from our cooperation with a Czech company Tekro, where we help pack feed into twenty-five kilo bags. That's a quarter of a quintal. Try to imagine those unfortunate people who had to take full bags in their hands quite recently, and you will immediately look at the term "difficult to grasp" differently.
